The most important thing you can do for your health, the environment, and the innocent animals is to go veggie.
Sarah, Our Kahului store manager sent me an email the other day saying "a while back we donated a gift card to a woman named Jacqueline who runs a group called Carina Water Wells. They put up drinking water well in Tanzania. She wanted to use her gift card to get DTE shirts for the crew that builds the water wells. They all sent her the sizes they wanted and were really excited about getting them. She just sent photos. Pretty wild seeing people in Tanzania all wearing DTE shirts. "

July 24th, 2009Very nice to lend support to these people helping the community with the most basic of needs: a fresh water supply. If only everyone gave some of their time for good causes like this. Let's send a DTE well-digging crew! I'm in!

July 22nd, 2009It's nice that Down To Earth donated to such a important cause. It feels we now have a special bond with these people, making our world seem a little closer. Maybe that will be the next Down To Earth location, Tanzania.

July 21st, 2009I think it's great that DTE saw fit to donate to this cause. I don't think there is anyone among us who isn't smiling when they look at this picture and see our logo in Tanzania. It's absolutely wonderful. Kudos to Carina Water Wells. I did a web search and found out that there are people in several parts of the world who are helping to raise money for the cause. What a great idea!
