Healthy Nutritional Seminar

Down to Earth will host this free four-hour seminar that explains how to improve your health by eating delicious organic and natural foods that are good for you and the environment. The program includes a presentation by Mark Fergusson, Down to Earth's Chief Vegetarian Officer, entitled "Love Life! Eat Healthy, Be Happy." Carmela Wolf, Down to Earth Wellness Manager, will discuss the nutritional benefits of a vegetarian diet. Her talk will include a discussion about foods that reduce your risk of cancer. And Saradha Johnson, our Cooking Class Instructor, will show how to prepare fast and easy vegetarian dishes. Includes free sampling! The goal of Non-GMO Month is to build awareness of the new "Non-GMO Project Verified" logo that is starting to appear on non-GMO tested product packaging. The new logo will empower consumers to exercise their right to choose non-GMO foods. We firmly believe you have a right to choose what you eat and feed your families, and the logo will help you make an informed decision about whether you want to eat GMO foods.
