January

Welcome to Down to Earth’s January e-newsletter. To start off this exciting time of change, we have redesigned our e-newsletter and our Web site. Be sure to check back later this month to see our beautiful new design at www.downtoearth.org.

This is a very rejuvenating time of year and we are so glad to connect with you to help you find healthy ways to support your lifestyle. And we have some wonderful advice and information on how to do it!

We will be holding our free Maui vegetarian cooking class on January 15th in Kahului at the Seventh Day Adventist Church. We will not be holding our Oahu cooking class at the first of this month because of the holiday. Honolulu classes will resume again on February 5th.

Our article this month is “Minerals: The Overlooked Necessity.” And our health tip is “How to Avoid Mineral Deficiency.” We are also introducing a new column by Angela Kerr, who will be writing on different topics of health and fitness. More than anything, we as a company hope we can help you make the best health choices for you and your family, so please let us know if there is anything we can do to serve you better. Feel free to call or e-mail us anytime.

In the meantime, have a Happy, Healthy New Year!

New! Welcome to the Fitness Fusion
I am so happy to be a part of Down to Earth. I have shopped at the stores for years, and have always wanted to be able to contribute in some way. I have been a vegetarian for 15 years and not only has my health improved, but my awareness of how diet affects others has also broadened. I especially LOVE that I can walk into any of their stores and buy anything I need without having to question and scrupulously inspect every label. Read more
