The most important thing you can do for your health, the environment, and the innocent animals is to go veggie.
In a move to increase its community outreach, Down to Earth CEO Mark Fergusson has posted blog and Twitter sites that promise to, in the words of a comment by one reader, “open the door to lively and deep discussion, spark curiosity and understanding, and renew compassion and civility toward all living beings: neighbors, nations, animals, and the amazing organism we call Earth.”
“Let’s get down to earth,” is the brain child of Down to Earth CEO Mark Fergusson, who is also the blogger for the site.
“I wanted to provide information for people who regularly seek information to improve their health, contribute to a cleaner and safer environment, and are concerned about the welfare of all living beings, including the innocent animals,” he said.
As CEO of Hawaii’s only all-vegetarian food store chain and one of only a few in the nation, Mark has a point of view that he hopes you will find interesting and thought provoking. You are welcome to use the Down to Earth blog as a venue to share your thoughts, and explore together with Mark the benefits of a vegetarian diet and lifestyle. Please freely post your comments and you’ll have a lively conversation about these important issues.
