"Our goal is to entice those new to the idea of vegetarianism to give meatless fare a try (even for a day) and to give those who are already vegetarian or moving toward plant-based diets a reason to celebrate their healthy and environmentally friendly food choices," says Mark Fergusson, Down to Earth's Chief Vegetarian Officer (CFO/CEO).

"The single most important thing an individual can do for their health, for the environment, and for the sake of the innocent animals is to go vegetarian," he adds.

He says that number continues to increase as people discover how the switch to a vegetarian diet can help improve their lives and contribute to a cleaner and safer planet.
