Banana Date Shake

This recipe is from “Fat-free and Easy” by Jennifer Raymond.

Ingredients

  • ½ C. soy or rice milk
  • 4-6 pitted dates
  • 2 C. frozen banana chunks

Instructions

  1. Place the milk and dates into a blender and blend until the dates are in very small pieces.
  2. Add the bananas and blend until thick and smooth.

Yields 2 servings

This recipe could use a few more additional suggestions, such as almonds, some frozen strawberries and maybe some protein powder to help round it out.
