Eggless Fench Toast

As seen on KITV 4 with Dick Algire. During Mango season this is good with mango puree. Peel and cut mango, and puree in a blender or food processor.

Ingredients

  • 2 C. bananas, sliced
  • ¾ C. vanilla soymilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 8 slices whole-wheat or sprouted grain bread
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • Maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Put bananas, soymilk, and cinnamon in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a pie plate.
  2. Dip bread into mixture, turning to coat both sides.Brush a nonstick skillet or griddle with oil. When hot, add coated bread slices.
  3. Brown on one side, 2-3 minutes. Turn and brown on other side.
  4. Serve with maple syrup.
