Carob is a fruit that looks like a long pod. It is a good source of B vitamins and fiber. It is referred to in the Bible as Saint Johns Bread. Health conscious people use it in place of chocolate as it does contain vitamins and some trace minerals and it is naturally sweet requiring very little added sugar.
Ingredients
1 Pre-made graham cracker pie crust
1 Ripe banana
12oz Carob chips
1-½ Boxes of silken Firm tofu
1 tsp. Almond extract
1 Tbsp. Honey (optional)
Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
lace carob chips on dish and microwave for about 1-½ minutes
Crumble tofu in Cuissinart and add melted carob chips, almond extract and sea salt. Blend until smooth.
Slice bananas into graham cracker crust and pour tofu mixture on top.
