CASHEW GRAVY
This is a nutritious, non-dairy gravy.
2 ½ C. filtered water
2/3 C. cashew pieces (from our bulk bins, pieces are a nice low price)
2 Tbsp. tapioca flour, arrowroot, or corn starch
2 Tbsp. Braggs liquid aminos
1 ½ tsp. onion powder
½ tsp. sea salt
1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2. Cook in a double boiler on medium heat until thick. Don’t let
the double boiler scare you—just place a small pot inside a larger
pot full of water.
