WALNUT PARSLEY GRAVY
This recipe is from the North American Vegetarian Society’s booklet:
“Vegetarianism, Tipping the Scales for the Environment.”
½ C. walnut pieces
½ C. parsley, chopped
1 ½ C. water
2 ½ Tbsp. arrowroot powder or cornstarch
1 tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1. Blend ingredients. Put in saucepan over low heat and stir until
thickened.
