Ingredients:
4-6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced in crescents
3 C. whole wheat pastry flour
2 C. rolled oats
Pinch of cinnamon
Pinch of sea salt
½ C. corn oil
1 C. apple juice

| 1. Line the bottom
of an 8”x8” baking pan with apple slices.
2. In a bowl, mix cinnamon with juice and pour half the mixture over
the apples.
3. In another bowl, mix the flour, oats and salt. Add oil and stir until
mixture is crumbly.
4. Add remaining juice and mix. The mixture should still be crumbly.
5. Sprinkle mixture over apples and let it sit for ½ an hour.
6. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, or until apples are soft and
top is beginning to brown.
Yield: 8-10 servings
