MOCK TURKEY CUTLETS
1 block Mrs. Cheng’s firm tofu
½ C. soy sauce, for dipping
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
½ C. nutritional yeast, for breading
¼ C. whole wheat flour, for breading
Dash black pepper
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Cut tofu into slices
3. Mix nutritional yeast, poultry seasoning and whole wheat flour together.
4. Dip each slice of tofu in soy sauce, then into breading mixture and
place on a lightly oiled non-stick baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
5. Turn tofu over, sprinkle with black pepper and bake for another 10
minutes until light golden brown.
6. Serve slices with a vegetarian gravy.
