To help protect you and our team, starting on Wednesday, April 15th, Down to Earth will require all customers and team members to wear a face covering when inside any of our stores.

Customers may also be asked to bag their own groceries if they bring in their own reusable bags. Paper and new reusable bags are available for purchase. This will help reduce contact.

To reduce your risk even more, consider shopping from our online shops. Pick-Up and Local Delivery Options are available for all Down to Earth Locations.

Why is Down to Earth requiring face coverings?

We are following recommendations from government officials and the CDC that the public wear face coverings anytime they are outside their homes.

From the CDC website: " [The] CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

CDC also advises the use of simple cloth face coverings to slow the spread of the virus and help people who may have the virus, and do not know it, from transmitting it to others.  Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure."

How do I get a face covering?

Down to Earth is working on having face covering available for purchase at all stores. Our team members will be using a variety of masks and face shields. We have ensured that none of the masks used by our team members are needed by medical professionals.
