Ginger-Adzuki Pate

Adzuki beans make a rich pate. Pickled ginger and scallions give a warm bite to the palate.

  • 4 cups cooked aduki beans
  • 1 (2.1-ounce) package pickled ginger
  • 3-4 Tablespoons Nama Shoyu®
  • 1 cup chopped scallions


  1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Puree until you reach a thick, spreadable consistency. If the mixture is too dry, add some water and blend until you achieve desired consistency.
  2. Serve with flat bread, crackers or your favorite bite-sized crudités.
