Classic Green Smoothie
Other greens can be substituted for romaine - particularly the milder greens like red leaf lettuce, beet greens and spinach. Mint and parsley are also delicious additions.
- 1 head of romaine
- ¼ - ½ cup of mint leaves
- 4 cups of water
- Wash the greens. Remove any discolored leaves. Pick the mint leaves from the stems.
- In a blender, mix all the greens with the water until they are very fine.
- Serve over ice! Drink immediately.
