- ½ cup cashew pieces
- 10 ounces soft silken tofu
- ½ cup chopped basil leaves
- ½ Tablespoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup minced red onion
- 1 Tablespoon liquid aminos
- Cayenne to taste
- 1 cup water
- Toast cashew pieces until light brown.
- Put everything except the water into a food processor and puree.
- Transfer to a small saucepan, add water and simmer for 10-15 minutes until thick.
- Serve over vegetables or grains and enjoy!
