Kapolei Grand Opening Huge Success!

Down to Earth opened its newest location at Kapolei Commons on July 2nd to a great reception! The 10,000-square-foot store is our sixth store and first in West Oahu, which until now was without a health food store. It's also our new flagship store. 'Lots of people, lots of activities, and loads of fun! The lines were long, but great sale prices made up for it!

Down to Earth Cooking Classes Now Held at All Locations

Honolulu, HI (June 29, 2011)-- Down to Earth ALL VEGETARIAN Organic & Natural is now conducting vegetarian cooking classes at all store locations. The classes are conducted by members of Down to Earth's Love Life! Community Outreach Team, all of whom are vegetarian, vegan, or raw food chefs.

Honolulu, HI (May 10, 2011) -- A public discussion, "Why Are We Eating GMO Food: Its Health and Environmental Consequences" will be presented by Down to Earth ALL VEGETARIAN Organic & Natural on Wednesday June 8, 2011, at the Moiliili Community Center Room #105, behind Down to Earth at 2525 S. King St., Honolulu. A panel presentation and Q&A will be held from 7:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by "Call-to-Action" groups 8:00pm to 9:00pm. Attendance is free.

Down to Earth to Hold Job Fair for New Kapolei Location

A Job Fair to recruit team members for Down to Earth's new Kapolei store will be held at its location in Kapolei Commons across from Target, on May 5th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The new store will open this July. Candidates are asked to bring their resume and be prepared for an interview. Openings that the company is looking to fill include management and team member positions in the Deli, Produce, and Wellness Departments, as well as cashiers and stockers.
