Earth Day Volunteer Work Day at Aloha Animal Sanctuary

Aloha Animal Sanctuary

To celebrate Earth Day, we are giving back to our fellow creatures on the earth by volunteering at Aloha Animal Sanctuary, a non-profit animal rescue farm, on Sunday, April 21st from 9am-12pm.

We will be:

  • Planting banana trees
  • Planting the organic garden
  • Helping build more fencing
  • Helping build the compost
  • Completing miscellaneous tasks like setting up the tool shed, painting the picnic table, etc.

Kids are more than welcome - the only age restriction that applies is that children under the age of 12 are not permitted to enter Haku the Pig's enclosure, but they can meet him from the outside!

Please be prepared to get muddy! Wear/bring covered shoes, farm work clothes, work gloves, hat, water bottle and sunscreen.

Please note that there is limited parking at the Sanctuary so carpooling is highly recommended.
