Essential Job Functions

Customer Service - Provide excellent customer service through positive interactions, always. Actively engage customers to find out what the customer wants; and get the product for them accurately, politely and enthusiastically!

Product Knowledge – Know, understand and support the company’s purpose to provide high-quality, local, organic, plant-based products.

Merchandise With Flair - Meet the customers’ standards of cleanliness and fulfillment by performing the eight golden rules of Down to Earth merchandising. 

Attendance & Punctuality – Being present and on-time when scheduled is essential to fulfilling our mission of service to our customers.

Be Productive – As a team of mission-driven individuals, work cooperatively and collaboratively with fellow Team Members to ensure success. Be productive, be present, be part of the team. 

Bulk Buyer – Responsible for purchasing, inventory, receiving, and monitoring of bulk items.

Manager on Duty - Managerial reliever to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager. Responsible for the operational performance, store safety and Team Member oversight, while on shift. Together, the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Manager on Duty share in the successful achievement of all departmental goals. 

Experience

Manager on Duty – 

  • Minimum of two years retail experience. 

  • Minimum of one year experience in purchasing, merchandising, and selling.

  • Minimum of one year leadership or supervisory experience. 

  • Formal education in natural health, nutrition and/or healing preferred.

Skills

Each product has its own story, benefits and uses. Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the store.

Problem Solving – Ability to solve a variety of situations in a productive, friendly and courteous manner. 

Ability to communicate effectively with fellow Team Members and customers.

Ability to perform basic computer functions, particularly whilst utilizing Microsoft programs.

Starting Pay

Full-Time Manager on Duty – $27 per hour
