Raw Layer Dip

Raw Layer Dip recipe from Down to Earth Organic and Natural.

Ingredients: 

Raw Taco Filling

  • 2 1/2 cups raw walnuts
  • 1 clove garlic, diced
  • 1/2 cup oil packed sun dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 cup black olives
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 3 Tablespoons diced red onion
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 3 Tablespoons chili powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Guacamole

  • 3 avocados, peeled, pitted, and mashed
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 Tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 Roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)

Raw Sour Cream

  • 2 cups raw macadamia nuts
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water or more, as needed

 

Instructions: 
  1. To make Raw Taco Filling, place walnuts in food processor and blend until finely ground. Transfer to a large mixing bowl
  2. Stir in remaining Raw Taco Filling ingredients and mix well.
  3. Spread on bottom of 8x8 glass baking dish as layer 1 of our raw layer dip.
  4. Combine all Guacamole ingredients in a large bowl and serve. Place the guacamole over Raw Taco Filling .
  5. Combine all Raw Sour Cream ingredients in high power blender. Blend until fluffy and whipped.
  6. ​Spread Raw Sour Cream over the Guacamole as the final layer. Let chill for 1 hour then serve and enjoy!
