Balsamic Vinaigrette

A rich and savory dressing for green-based or pasta salads. Dijon mustard adds a delicious creaminess.
Yield
3/4 cup dressing
Ingredients
- ½ cup Extra Virgin Olive oil
- 3 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons prepared Dijon mustard
- 1 Tablespoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon each ground celery seed and garlic powder
- Sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl, or shake in a jar until creamy and emulsified.
- Let stand for about an hour before serving, to let flavors meld. This will keep in the fridge for a very long time! Enjoy drizzled on salads, sautéed vegetables, or pastas.
