Vegan Hot Chocolate

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 Tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1.5 Tablespoons dairy-free semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/8th Teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
- Sweetener of choice (Try 1 Tablespoon agave)
- Optional Toppings:
- Vegan marshmallows
- Crushed Candy Canes
- Crushed Cookies
- Cinnamon
- Vegan Whipped Topping
- Chocolate Shavings
- Sprinkles
- Cinnamon Sticks or Candy Canes to stir
Instructions
- Heat almond milk in saucepan over medium heat.
- Once milk is hot, add cocoa powder, chocolate, and sweetener and whisk to combine.
- Taste and adjust sweetness as desired.
- Add in peppermint extract if desired and toppings of choice.
- Enjoy!
