Coconut Milk Yogurt

Purchasing ready-made yogurt can be expensive. Making your own yogurt saves money, tastes amazing, and let’s be honest – sounds pretty impressive.

Ingredients
  • 2 quarts coconut milk (additive-free)
  • Yogurt starter culture

Optional add-ins:

  • Vanilla Extract
  • Maple Syrup
  • Agave Nectar
     
Instructions
  1. Heat milk to 110̊. Remove from heat.
  2. Add yogurt starter culture to milk.
  3. Transfer yogurt to culture container.*
  4. Allow yogurt to rest 24-48 hours.
  5. Transfer yogurt to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 6 hours. 
  6. Serve with granola or muesli, Enjoy!

*Yogurt should be held at 108̊-110̊. This can be done in a crockpot on low, or left to rest at room temperature (with no a/c).
