Football Cookies

Whip up a batch of these football shaped cookies and frost them in your team colors!

Ingredients
  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 Tablespoon flaxmeal + 2 Tablespoons water, soaked for 15 minutes
  • 2 Tablespoons macadamia oil (or coconut oil)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Frosting:

  • 5 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375̊.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream cane sugar, butter, soaked flaxmeal, macadamia oil, and vanilla until fully combined.
  3. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Flour a clean counter surface and roll out dough. Cut dough into a football shape, and transfer to a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake cookies for 10 minutes. Remove to oven and transfer to a cooling rack for at least 15 minutes.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine all frosting ingredients and mix until creamy and smooth.
  7. Once cookies have cooled, frost them and serve! Enjoy!
