Juniper Berry Simple Syrup

  • 1 Tablespoon whole juniper berries, crushed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  1. Combine all ingredients into a small pot. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and carefully transfer to a glass bowl. Allow syrup to steep in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  3. Strain mixture to discard juniper berry. Use immediately or keep refrigerated for up to a month.
