Down to Earth will launch "Meatless Mondays" beginning on Monday April 26th, and every Monday after that. Customers will get up to 40% off the regular price of selected ALL VEGETARIAN Preferred Brand items. Meatless Mondays will become one of Down to Earth's signature events. Down to Earth Launches ALL VEGETARIAN Preferred Brand Program
Honolulu, HI (March 10, 2010) -- Down to Earth ALL VEGETARIAN Organic & Natural has launched a new program that gives preferred treatment to ALL VEGETARIAN brands that meet stringent criteria to set them apart from other products. To be recognized as an "ALL VEGETARIAN Preferred Brand" at Down to Earth, the manufacturer must exclude meat and meat-based ingredients from their entire product range, and make them from natural, organic, and GMO-free ingredients.

Yesterday, December 31, 2009, our community outreach team tried to deliver a deluxe collection of fruits, vegetables, and other vegetarian foods to Rush Limbaugh, the leading conservative radio commentator, who had been hospitalized at Queens Medical Center in Hawaii with chest pain.

Down to Earth to Open New Store in Hilo, Remodel Others
Honolulu, Hawaii (August 12, 2009) – Honolulu-based Down to Earth ALL VEGETARIAN Organic and Natural will open a new store in Hilo on the Big Island this fall and complete remodels of its Kahului and Kailua stores by early next year. The addition will give the company a total of five stores in Hawaii. Down to Earth is the only all-vegetarian food store in Hawaii and one of only a few in the nation. The expansion is expected to add approximately 50 jobs to the company’s payroll.
Down to Earth announces new Hilo store
I am pleased to announce that Down to Earth is opening a new store in Hilo on the Big Island this fall. The store in Hilo is located in the incredibly high traffic Wal-Mart Shopping Center in a 5,500-square-foot space being vacated by Island Naturals Market who are moving elsewhere.
